jeff's Teaching Style
Jeff is British Wheel of Yoga accredited and 500 hour Yoga Alliance certified. He is inspiring and popular as a teacher because of his passion and unique style which emphasizes the true spirit of yoga. Strong but soft, dynamic yet meditative - there is an emphasis on right and skilful action to bring inner peace, balance and harmony. He enjoys being creative and experimental with his classes working with a variety of themes, ideas, different sequences and a range of postures to help students deepen their practice and understanding. Classes have a meditative quality – learning to be present, not on 'automatic pilot', so that we can practice being as fully alive as possible in each moment in every day life - not just on the mat.
Yoga has been a constant part of his life for the past 10 years and the main influences on his teaching style are (in no particular order) the Iyengar, Ashtanga Vinyasa, Dynamic, Viniyoga, Sivananda and Satyananda schools. He has studied with many of the world’s leading yoga teachers doing workshops, retreats and trainings with the likes of Jivamukti, Shiva Rae, Donna Farhi, Godfrey Devereaux, Sarah Powers, Adhil Palkhivalha, Richard Freeman, Tias Little and Rod Stryker.
Jeff teaches yoga classes at a number of venues including London’s top 2 yoga centres – Triyoga in Primrose Hill and The Life Centre in Notting Hill, plus his own yoga classes in the Clapham area, South London.
